I suspected maybe they were smoking something close or very illegal. I then meet the smell while walking through a restaurant area of the city. Few month later I sensed the smell coming from nearby... my kitchen. It was my mom cooking some bamboo in the oven with chicken. It turns out she did not feel at all the offensive smell while I felt under chemical attack. But once the smell was gone in like 1.5 hours, the food was fine and the bamboo lost its aggressive smell. If you steam it, the bamboo does not smell during this easy cooking, but its taste is more offensive. If you put it in the oven, the aroma goes into air and leaves a more neutral bamboo.Cristi Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304437690959603870.post-7014154380886874412010-08-26T01:06:08.685+08:002010-08-26T01:06:08.685+08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304437690959603870.post-2291305739150234992009-08-31T10:48:31.726+08:002009-08-31T10:48:31.726+08:00*fast dog sniff*
