I know I should keep my blog to food, but those who know me will know I'm quite outspoken. Afterall, what launched my blogging was one lousy meal at Delifrance.
Anyway, I was at Royal China. Again. When we were paying the bill, they told us about their membership. You pay RM12 (US$3.40) and get a membership card which entitles you to 10% discount, immediately. You'll also get an RM25 voucher. When I filled the form, I was not only asked to reveal my age (horrors!), but also my salary, and--my race. Malay, Chinese, Indian or Others?? I hear you also have to state your race in the government high school exams, our SPM. What the--??

When your politics are race based it permeates just about everything else, unfortunately.

ReplyDeletetheir HK style bbq meat is good,pipa duck is good, their ribs r good, chinese spinach w century eggs is very good, kale with anchovies good. tofu w ham n m/room no good, crispy fish wonton w wasabi is so--i don't know. wey likes it but i find it kinda 'not here or there'!
